Questions and answers

  • What is Design for Everyone?

When developing our 9000E mixer range, we focused particularly on making sure that the products suit all users of all ages.

The material and design of our new thermostats with coloured knobs provide an easy grip for users with weak hands, or whose hands are wet and soapy. The mixers also have ceramic heads that save you having to rotate the knob several turns to achieve the desired water flow. The bath spout has a built-in turning diverter that makes it easy to divert the water flow between the shower and bath. There’s no small knob that’s awkward to grasp. The same intelligent function is built into the connection point between the hose and the shower bar on our combination showers.

Small simple solutions that make sure our products last a lifetime. In short, FM Mattsson has a mixer for everybody.

  • Can I replace my kitchen mixer myself?

Yes, if you know how to do it and perform an inspection after you’ve finished.

  • I can hear noice in the pipes when I turn the tap off. What can I do about it?

Don’t hesitate – change to an FM Mattsson mixer with a soft close mechanism. The noice you can hear is caused by pressure in the pipes. It shortens the pipes’ lifespan and increases risk of water damage.
